Pentecost Pledge

Pentecost Pledge

We are grateful for all those who give regularly to the parish of Herne Hill financially, and in other ways.
Your generous giving is vital for our work together as a church.
Last year your giving enabled:

  • 35 new children and youth to join our congregations
  • Our buildings to be safe, warm and welcoming , including redecorating St Saviour’s and fixing the heating so we could host a winter shelter
  • People to budget, find jobs, and get out of debt through our CAP money courses, job clubs and debt coaching

All of this takes time and money and it wouldn’t have been possible without the generous contribution of our regular givers – you are making a real difference!

Every year circumstances change so we are inviting all church members to review their giving. For some, it may need to go down or stay the same, but for others, they may be able to give more.

We are asking everyone to prayerfully consider what you might be able to give for the next 12 months and complete a pledge form by Pentecost Sunday on the 8th June?

Only Peter, our Treasurer, will be able to read the pledge form responses.  I never know what people give financially.

This will help us celebrate the churches’ birthday and budget for the coming 2 years.

Please follow this link to complete the form: https://hernehillparish.churchsuite.com/-/forms/uqktqzkt

We are also encouraging all members to give via our Parish Giving Scheme.  It only takes a few minutes to sign up and really helps reduce our administrative burden. So please do consider using this method.

More information about ‘how’ can be found here and also attached: https://www.parishgiving.org.uk/donors/find-your-parish/parish-of-herne-hill-london/

Thank you for prayerfully considering this.
