Hopefully you have already discovered in person the warm and open welcome that’s on offer at both St Saviour’s and St Paul’s churches. If not, we hope that you will – whichever church and whichever service you come to, whether you are young or old, whatever your background, or current circumstances.
There are 3 things we have all been invite to consider doing:
We need God’s strength to empower us to achieve them.
As you pray God might give you a heart for something. If so, we would love you to join a team to help make them happen. Let us know if you want to get involved and we can connect you with others.
Generosity will look different for each one of us. We are asking everyone to review their giving to the parish and pray about what generosity for them will be this year. We invite you to use the Parish Giving Scheme as our preferred way to receive regular donations.
Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, others will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else. And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you. Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!2 Corinthians 9:10-15
We’d love to see you this Sunday!
You are welcome to come along to one of our services and find out more about us.
